Whitney McKain

Whitney McKain is an Associate based in Russo Commercial's Austin office, specializing in project leasing, asset management, financial analysis, and investments. She has over 8 years of commercial real estate experience.

PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE

Prior to joining Russo Commercial in 2015, McKain was a financial analyst with Kennedy Wilson in Austin, Texas. She worked on financial modeling for ground developments as well as office, industrial, multifamily, self-storage, and retail projects. McKain also handled due diligence investigations, financing, and loan structuring for new acquisitions. She executed day-to-day asset management duties for numerous properties, as well.

Before moving back to Austin, McKain was a Senior Analyst and Accountant with Goldman Sachs in Dallas, Texas. She managed Whitehall Funds, prepared and reviewed financial statements and capital statements, analyzed third-party financial statements to ensure appropriate items were accurately recorded, and established accurate fair market value of investments. Additionally, she allocatted investor and investment distributions and contributions.

McKain also served as Senior Auditor at Deloitte and Touche, LLP, where she developed and implimented audit plans within the manufacturing, financial and real estate industries. She assessed the reasonableness of the company's audited financial statements, and she participated in the preparation of an S1 debt offering and audits of multiple SEC clients.
